Hi -  I’m Steve Gougeon, the owner of a small custom woodworking shop in Ashfield, Massachusetts. We specialize in creating custom cabinetry and furniture that perfectly suits your space, taste, budget, and needs. With three decades of experience in various woodworking fields, including furniture, cabinets, remodeling, and general contracting, I’m here to help you make the most of your living space.

 

Cabinetry: Whether you’re looking to revamp your kitchen, bathroom, home office, entryway, or any other living area, we can design and build cabinetry that’s tailored to your specific requirements. We can work with your existing plans or collaborate with you and your designer or contractor to create a unique design. Additionally, we can provide you with 3D drawings of your space to visualize the final result.

 

Furniture: Do you ever wish you could find a bookshelf that fits perfectly in a corner, a chest with just the right number of drawers, or a table and chairs that suit your kids’ needs? We can build furniture that fits seamlessly into your home, reflects your style, and fulfills your specific requirements. You have the option to choose between freestanding or built-in furniture. We can work from your pictures or engage in brainstorming sessions with you or your designer/architect to create exactly what you envision.

 

Built to Last: At our shop, we prioritize creating products that are not only beneficial for your health but also environmentally friendly. We operate on solar power and use natural, water-based finishes, formaldehyde-free veneer plywoods, and durable, long-lasting hardware in our creations. Whenever possible, we prefer to use locally sourced woods and those certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
